Abdulfatai is a graduate of accounting and holds a national diploma certificate in accounting. He started his career with BOAS Financial & Management Strategy Company in Central Business District, Alausa Ikeja in 2008, where he developed skills for financing and management strategy. He later joined the Management & Marketing magazine (M2), a brand, marketing, and strategy outfit in Toyin Street Ikeja, as a Finance Executive, with a specialty in corporate financing and strategy. In the course of his employment, he has facilitated medium and long-term loan facilities from banks, and non-banks institution with smooth repayment framework for the companies where he worked. He also specialized in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and environmental accounting.

Abdulfatai graduated from the Faculty of management science, at the University of Ado-Ekiti (where he was also President of the Federation of Ekiti State Student Union) and Ondo State Polytechnic Owo. He presently manages the Finance department of Tope Adebayo LP.
