Transaction Highlight

  • Currently advising an indigenous oil and gas company on disputes arising from its participating interest ownership of an upstream oil and gas asset.
  • Part of the legal team that advised the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) on the divestment of the Federal Government’s equity stake in Brass and Forcados assets with a portfolio of over US$ 1.7billion.
  • Currently advising an independent oil and gas company through the process of marginal field award and project finance
  • Advising two Nigerian subsidiaries of a US-based renewable energy company on the financing and development of solar hybrid mini-grids in Nigeria. Our services involve generation, review and negotiation of material contracts including Term Sheet, FinancingAgreement, Stock Vesting Agreement, Development Agreement, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract, and transaction support on audit and valuation of developmental activities.
  • Currently advising a mini-grid company in negotiating a Tripartite Agreement for the use of the distribution network of a Power Distribution Company. We also provide the company with legal advisory and company secretarial services on its day to day operations.
